The hospital, a not-for-profit, was started by Elvina Menezes, the wife of the founder Cosme Matias Menezes, to support the health and welfare of the local community, especially the underprivileged. Thus costs are reasonable and patients are not enticed to stay longer than they absolutely must.

We recognize that every patient is important to humanity and hence deserves the very best care possible. We give a personal touch to every patient.We understand that people walking through our doors are often going through a stressful time.
